LUNCHROOM STAFF:

QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrate competence in all phases of food services, including but not limited to:

  • Receipt and storage of food items
  • Preparation of trays for students
  • Maintenance of serving lines efficiency and cleanliness
  • Responsible for cleanliness of overall lunchroom area
  • Daily cleanup responsibilities following completion of all lunch periods
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by lunchroom supervisor and/or Lunch Program Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Lunch Program Coordinator

HOURS: Four (4) hours per day, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

$10 per hour


MAIN OFFICE RECEPTIONIST:

QUALIFICATIONS:  Demonstrates competence in the area of office procedures, use of modern technology, public relations, and secretarial/telephone skills.  The person must be able to successfully handle multi-tasks in a busy office setting.  High school diploma required.  Background and understanding of the performing arts is a plus but not required.  Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus. Experience with Rediker SIS a plus.

This is a 12-month, full time, salaried position; hours are school days from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 30 minute lunch break.  Eligible for full benefits following 90-day probationary period.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Serves as Receptionist of the Main Office.
  2. Primary greeter of all students, parents and visitors.
  3. Monitors all school sign-ins and sign-outs.
  4. Handles all student attendance issues.
  5. Distributes and collects student permission slips as needed.
  6. Prepares daily staff email blasts.
  7. Handles phone and email correspondence
  8. Organizes lost and found.
  9. Routes nursing needs in accordance with established school procedures.
  10. Provides scheduling and secretarial support to Principal.
  11. Performs other duties assigned by Principal and/or Executive Director.

All employees of AACS are required to have Criminal Record/Background Check, Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Background Check documents as required by the PA State Department of Education, in addition to current TB rest results as part of required physical examination.
